As Covid has started loosening its grip, many SSN choruses have experienced an influx of new members. This expansion has brought with it many opportunities, such as new ideas and talent; a wider range of skills and knowledge; and greater diversity of perspectives, to name just a handful. It has also brought challenges, such as an increase in cultural diversity; space logistics; and decisions about whether to cap the size of the group and how. 
 
Recent SSN conversations have revealed many commonalities between our choruses on this issue, and have underscored the need for us to compare notes. Hence this round table focusing on the Artistic Director perspective, perhaps the first of several on the topic.

We will begin with a short presentation from Kitty Beller-McKenna, the Artistic Director of Women in Harmony (WiH) in Portland, Maine. WiH had a rapid increase in membership 15 years ago and has been addressing the challenges with systems that have evolved over the years. Kitty will share with you what we have learned over the years.
