Your chorus is invited to the 10th Sister Singers Network Choral Festival over the Fourth of July weekend 2010 in Chicago, Illinois! Individual members of the network are also welcome to attend and to participate in the mass chorus.
CHICAGO
LOCATION
The 2010 SSN
Festival, hosted by Artemis Singers, will begin Thursday, July 1 and continue
through Sunday, July 4. The event will take place at Loyola University Chicago –
Lake Shore
Campus, on the sandy shores of beautiful Lake Michigan, with easy public
transit or cab access to Chicago’s exciting cultural resources, shopping, and
nightlife.
We will be housed in Regis Hall or Simpson Hall, both of which offer comfortable, air-conditioned, carpeted, single- and double-rooms, and a location across the street from our performance venue and most workshop rooms. Meal service with a wide variety of special diet accommodations is available. The residence hall, dining hall, performance venue (Mundelein Auditorium), rehearsal space, workshop, and vendor areas are all within walking distance of one another. Golf cart transportation between buildings is available for anyone who needs it.
Should you choose to stay off-campus, Chicago’s many hotels are accessible via public transportation.
